Ben France-Hudson

University of Canterbury School of Law

Ben joined the University of Canterbury School of Law as a lecturer in 2013. Ben’s research focuses on the law of private property, with a particular focus on natural resources and land law. His current teaching includes Land Law and the law of Equity and Succession.
Ben graduated from the University of Canterbury School of Law in 2006. Since then he has worked as a Judges’ Clerk at the Christchurch High Court, as a solicitor in the Treasury Solicitor’s Office (London), and as an Assistant Crown Counsel in the Crown Law Office (Wellington). Most recently, Ben has been studying towards his PhD at the University of Otago where he also tutored Property Law.
